Hi I’m Alison Bender. I’m a freelance presenter and reporter specialising in football.
It feels like yesterday I started in this job that I love but I’ve been doing it now for coming up to 20 years!
I’m also a writer, pundit, events host, speaker and blogger and I regularly appear on the radio and podcasts chatting football or reviewing papers.
I’m also writing my first book which has been so much fun. I hope I can share it with you soon. It’s about following your dreams no matter what setbacks you have along the way.
I’ve travelled the World, covering European Championships, World Cups, and Champions League games.
I host live match-day shows, highlights programmes, debates and call-in shows. I’m also regularly interviewing Premier League players and mangers and reporting at games.
I’m a busy mum of two small kids and I think it’s really important to highlight the challenges working parents face so I’ve started blogging and speaking about it. Look out for my podcast Talent Takes Time, focussing on the challenges women in this industry face.
See you soon.
